The store location is intended for live deal postings. If you see something on sale or clearance at a local store, you snap a pic through the site, post at the least the minimum information, and use the location as something like "Walmart - Gladstone" or "Target - Legends". Our little bot, that is currently in early development, goes out and finds deals through the internet. For some of these deals to be viewed, a location has to be set through the store's website. We started having the bot record the location it set when it located this deal due to, in some rare instances, discounted prices will show a more discounted price at certain locations than others. (Walmart is a good example. Though all the stores are in sync when advertised sales start and end, items going on clearance do not.) This is why it's important to check the retailer's site/app to make sure posted deals are the same price at your local retailer location. Also the location field is currently not required to be filled out to submit a deal, but if the deal you're sharing is found through the internet and you have a store location set through the site/app, share the location that is set in the location field. :)
